Hoe ziet je week eruit?
Wat neem je mee?
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, with the ability to manage and analyze production data effectively
- Proven track record of optimizing production processes, reducing lead times, and improving resource utilization
- Experience collaborating across departments, including Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Development, to ensure alignment and smooth operations
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for creating insightful reports, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations
- Understanding of bicycle components or similar technical products, with the ability to translate technical needs into practical planning solutions
- Language Skills: You are fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus but not required

Purpose of the role Production Planner
The primary purpose of the Production Planner role is to ensure the efficient and timely coordination of all production activities in alignment with sales forecasts, inventory levels and customer demands. By developing and managing detailed production schedules, the Production Planner plays a critical role in maximizing manufacturing efficiency, minimizing delays, and maintaining optimal stock levels of materials and finished goods.
This role serves as a vital link between departments such as Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement and Production, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across the organization. The Production Planner also drives continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, analyzing production data and implementing process enhancements to support operational excellence and Giant’s commitment to quality and innovation.
