Wat neem je mee?
- Completed mbo-level education, preferably in a technical field
- Experience with Illustrator and affinity with product development
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Technical insight and accuracy in setting up production data
- Experience with SAP and/or experience in the bicycle industry is a plus

Purpose of the C&G BOM Engineer Role
For our client Giant, we are looking for a C&G BOM Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the paint and decal process within the New Product Development (NPD) cycle. You act as the key link between internal departments and the customer, ensuring accurate translation of customer requirements into a practical Bill of Materials (BOM) for production. In doing so, you make a direct contribution to the development of new bicycle models.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing customer requests and assessing their feasibility within the C&G process
- Creating clear timelines in collaboration with the Paint Engineer and Graphic Engineer
- Coordinating paint and decal requests for new products
- Maintaining regular communication with the customer regarding project progress
- Advising customers and ensuring product confirmations
- Creating and managing the paint BOM for production purposes
- Verifying that the BOM meets all technical specifications and customer requirements
- Identifying areas for improvement in the process and contributing to the optimization of the NPD cycle
