Purpose of the Role Demand Planner
In this position, you are responsible for coordinating the supply chain and inventory
management to ensure efficient delivery and product availability. You will work closely with various departments to align market demand with production, monitor stock levels, and facilitate smooth transitions during new product introductions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and demand forecasts to determine stock requirements
- Collaborate with factories on production planning and deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and purchasing plans with the sales team
- Support product and lineup integration during model year transitions
- Manage production and delivery schedules to ensure continuous availability
- Prepare reports and analyses on stock status
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and tasks with in-house teams
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain
- Advise stakeholders on inventory and demand trends
